Hey all!

I wasn't happy with the Dark Elf cheerleaders having a skirt. It looked off and just didn't really represent the whole dark elf skimpy theme of the fluff and the minis.

Also added my Dark Elf WitchElf rework, see below

I'm assuming if you're downloading this, you know how to add mods to your game. I'm terrible at writing installation instructions...

1) go to the folder: Cyanide\Blood Bowl\Data\3D\Skin\Cheerleader\DarkElf\Textures and make a backup of the folder Set_00.
2) After unzipping your chosen version, place the contents of the zip file in the Set_00 directory replacing the original files (it should be DarkElf_D.dds, DarkElf_S.dds, DarkElf_N.dds, and DarkElf_M.dds). WitchElf_Cheveux_01_D.dds is the default one. You don't need to replace this one as it is the same.



I wasn't happy with the default Witch Elf, particularly the faces, they simply looked goofy. Given that you can clearly see their faces as opposed to the other players, I decided to rework them.

1 - Reworked the faces, particularly the eyes to give some variety.
2 - Reworked the skin so that the model wasn't too "busy".
3 - Repaired some diffuse textures that were rushed or had bad UV layout.
4 - Repaired the Alpha on all the diffuse textures.
5 - Redid the face portion of the Normal map so that it wasn't too extreme. It fits better with the new textures.
6 - Reworked the diffuse for the Level 1 armor to correct the boots. Seems the artist was rushed and used black. By doing this the specular and normal detail barely would show up in game. Fixed it so hopefully that problem doesn't happen.
7 - Reworked the diffuse for the Level 3 armor to correct the boots.

To install, I'm assuming you guys know how to do this already. Look for the folder: Cyanide\Blood Bowl\Data\3D\Skin\Team\DarkElf\WitchElf\Textures. Backup the Textures directory. The files in the zip are in their corresponding folders, just move them over to the same folders in the Textures directory, replacing as necessary.

I was going to do a topless version of the Normal Map, for future modding or for modders. The only issue was that I thought it was kind of silly to have her running around the pitch with a breast or two out, hehe. Cheerleaders I figured made sense.

Ever thought of doing something similar with the Chaos girls?

Going to do the human cheerleaders next. I'd like to do chaos but only if I can manage to get deamonettes in there. Right now Chaos just has repainted human cheerleaders

I've got the deamonettes modelled and can animate them. All I'd need are the tools to do the exporting and such from Max.

Yeah I took it down because I discovered a problem with the Normal Map.

So far tested and looks good. Let me know if you guys see any anomalies.

Since discovering that Normal Maps should be saved as 2D Textures and not volume textures, I might have to go back to the cheerleaders and save their normal correctly.

The no skirts seems to be working fine for me. Good work.. can't wait to see what else you pop out... the Demonetts would be freakin assume.

Daemonette cheerleaders would be brilliant. Got a screencap of the model?
